In a limited obstetric ultrasound, the sonographer checks for three things: determine if the pregnancy is in the uterus, measure gestational age, and measure the fetal heart rate. Our Medical Director oversees the sonographers and reads the ultrasound scans.
A limited obstetric ultrasound does not diagnose anything beyond the three items listed and will not reveal the gender of your baby. An anatomy scan, typically done around 20 weeks, is commonly done during prenatal care with your doctor.

If you are seeking medical services at RETA, you will need to drink plenty of fluids beforehand. Our pregnancy testing and certain STI tests are run through a urine specimen. If you are having an abdominal ultrasound, it is important that your bladder is full to obtain the best images and measurements during the scan.
If you are seeking an ultrasound, a transvaginal ultrasound may be performed if you are less than 11 weeks pregnant or additional ultrasound images are needed for accurate measurements.

Mifepristone blocks the pregnancy hormone progesterone to the developing baby. The reversal simply counteracts those effects by supplying extra progesterone for the baby. Studies show a success rate of approximately 66% for reversing mifepristone and continuing the pregnancy.
Progesterone is a safe medication and is commonly given in pregnancy. For more information about Abortion Pill Reversal, go to abortionpillreversal.com.

At RETA, we believe families are strongest when they have the support they need. Our goal is to help parents confidently care for and raise their children. When a client is experiencing an unplanned pregnancy, we provide information about parenting and the resources available to help them succeed. We also discuss adoption as an option for those who would like to learn more. If a client is interested in adoption, we can connect them with people who have personal experience with adoption, including birth parents, adoptive parents, and individuals who were adopted. If a client decides to pursue an adoption plan, RETA can refer them to trusted adoption agencies and professionals.

We provide mentoring for women, men, couples, and teens. Mentorship is individualized to meet the needs of the participant and can be scheduled weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly. Once you are matched with a mentor, you will find a common time to meet, and the two of you will determine the topics/areas of focus that will help you heal, grow, and build a more promising future. We want to walk alongside you and offer commitment, connection, support, empowerment, encouragement, and presence.
