RETA is currently in the process of renovating our medical restroom. The renovation, which started last month by a wonderful volunteer, will make the restroom more accommodating for our clients.
RETA's Executive Director, Roxana, said of the project,
"Renovating [the restroom] will give it a more professional and medical look."
When the project is finished, the restroom will have a new paint job, new countertops, flooring, sink, cabinets, an opaque film covering the window and a pass-through window. The restroom will be more functional for our nurses by including more storage for medical equipment and more efficient for our clients taking a pregnancy test, providing them a better experience.
FUN FACT - When the building was purchased by RETA, the medical restroom was originally a food pantry built off of a kitchen.
